![]() I did all this without contacting developers, as I knew I could figure out the solution. I can now see the community! People complaining about their art being deleted is due to being reported, yet almost everyone’s art, I see no reason to report it. All of these things need to be fixed.Įdit: I have fixed my problem, I simply deleted, reinstalled and restored my purchase. Some people complained about their drawings being randomly deleted. Before I got pro, I liked to visit the community. I am typing this a day after I got pro, so I tried several times. Found the community, with a blue background instead of white. It wasn’t there, then I went to the section that said daily activities. When I got pro, I wanted to check out the community. I love this platform, but I can’t handle worrying every moment about whether or not my hours of work will be ruined without warning.įor when Sketches updates, they are always bug fixes. I’ve tried looking up anything I could do to fix it, but the most common response I could find was to download the latest version of the app, which as far as I can tell I’ve done. This kind of thing has started happening even without a layer warning. Usually I’d merge or delete some and move on, but as of late I’ve been getting this message even with only a few layers, and when I do try and do something about it, it ends up doing strange things to my work (deleting something on one layer and replacing it with what I tried to get rid of, redrawing things I erased when I try to resume working, filling random layers in completely black and then backing up so that I can’t undo it, just to name a few). Every now and then, whenever I was working on a particularly large project, I’d get a warning about there being too many layers. Most of my problems stem from the layers, as I’ve seen a couple of other people mention. At first I loved it- the wide range of new tools and mechanics seemed to be worth the relatively low cost, but lately the app has been getting increasingly glitchy. It’s a terrific all around easy to use app for creative people and I’m so thankful they keep updating it to make it even better.I’ve had this app for a few years now, and I recently purchased the pro version. No issues at all with bugs or crashing on any of them and I use it fairly often. I am using this app on a iPhone 13 Pro Max, a 2020 iPad Pro 12.9” and an older iPad Pro 9.7”. There isn’t another one like it and I use it frequently. The pen tool is one of my favorites, it is akin to an ape tel brush pen with pressure sensitivity. This is a robust art app but you have to take some time to play with all the brushes and textures, and I like the fact you can modify every color by press and hold the color. The new pastel crayon is pretty neat and mimics an actual pastel stick. I just spent a couple of hours playing with each and every brush and it’s variations as I haven’t done that for awhile. I particularly enjoy the watercolor brushes and the ability to add water to the color to soften and blend. Through the various iterations they’ve added layers and canvas sizes and myriad other upgrades. I use Procreate a lot but I enjoy the ease of use with Sketches and the brushes have some really nice effects. I’ve used this app since it came out in the AppStore and then the devs made a Pro version, not sure why but I’m not complaining.
